The Dvergi are a race of small and dark-skinned folk that evolved underground, but relocated to the surface after many of their settlements got flooded during the Great Cataclysm.

Dvergi are traditionalists, though they are known among other races primarily for their idiosyncrasy, their capacity for self-mockery and their strange sense of humor.

Dvergi are about as tall as Adar and Stoneborn though they are somewhat less stout and have pointy ears. Dvergi generally have gray or white hair, and tend to keep it short. Facial hair is limited to males, and they favor short beards.

Religion

Dvergi typically worship Gwydion or Vaedrung, considering them to be the only true gods, and mortal enemies of each other.

Rules

Dvergi follow the following rules:

• Humanoid. You are considered Humanoid for the purpose of abilities, spells and skills that target humanoids.
• Dwarf. You are considered a Dwarf for the purpose of abilities, spells and skills that target Dwarfs.
• Ability score increases. Your Strength score increases by 1 and your Constitution score increases by 2
• Darkvision. You have Darkvision, a remnant of your underground heritage
• Dvergi resilience. You have advantage on saving throws against poison, illusions and against being charmed or paralyzed. Additionally, you have resistance against poison damage
• Dvergi combat training. You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, light hammer, and warhammer
• Dvergi know Dvergish and Turian
• Dvergi gain the Child of Eluneia trait
